The Jacobs Farm featured a pond with was used to water the plants sold through its wholesale nursery when in operation. The beautiful pond remains and has been stocked with fish.
To honor the legacy of the property, the Heritage of Jacobs Farm will feature a designated community garden for growing fresh vegetables, herbs and flowers.
The Heritage of Jacobs Farm has been designed to preserve many of the existing natural elements. The trails and sidewalks throughout the community encourage residents to explore these elements.
Just past the old oak trees in the designated green space along the pond is a rustic bridge to the island where residents can picnic, swing on the old fashion swing and enjoy a lazy southern afternoon.
As the crow flies, the Heritage at Jacobs Farm is less than one mile from the Ross Barnett Reservoir where a host of water activities, parks and restaurants are available.
